These 24 Puzzles for Intermediate Language Arts cover basic English grammar and LA concepts, such as: parts of speech, root words with prefix and suffix, literary genres, main idea with supporting details and concluding sentences. This is another way for students to become familiar with the basics of Language Arts.
Download 3 files after purchase. Putting together the puzzles will require twenty-four 9″x12″ envelopes or letter size manilla file folders. Laminating is highly suggested.
Printing instructions:
File #1 Directions on how to print the puzzles and assemble the puzzles and a master for copying a Progress Card for each student.
File #2 is for the model for puzzles (This file can also be printed on card stock and posted as a study board). Print on plain copy paper and glue the model on a 9” x 12” envelope or on the right side of an opened manila folder. Place puzzle pieces inside the large envelope folder or in a small envelope to store inside the folder.
File #3 is for the puzzle pieces. Print double-sided on white card stock, long-side flip. Laminate before cutting pieces apart.
