Pre-K Cut-Out Mini-Kit for Six-Groups
This mini-kit is downloaded in 5 files after purchase. This mini-kit is also included in the Pre-K Workshop Schedule Support Materials. All products from Workshop Way are copyrighted and the purchaser is entitled to use the materials in their own classroom but is restricted from printing for multiple classrooms.
Six-Groups for reteaching and enrichment is a Workshop Way technique to raise the consciousness levels and thinking skills of students. Specific techniques for questioning and Cushioning Language are detailed in the Pre-K Handbook for a Workshop Way® Classroom. How to use the items in this kit are described in the Pre-K Handbook:
Color printing for the files 1, 4 and 5 is recommended, but is optional. For files 2 and 3, printing is black (no color) and the files need to be on two different colors of pastel card card stock (suggested colors are yellow and blue).
- Six-Group Charts, printed on white card stock in color, single-sided
2 & 3. Cards for Numeration understanding, 2 files, one printed on pastel yellow card stock and one printed on pastel blue card stock. Recommended to print double-sided.
4. Mini-Thinkers, printed on white card stock in color
5. Special Lessons for Thinking, printed in color on either plain copy paper and then put in a sheet protector or on card stock and laminated
